MET Technician

We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled MET Technician to join our client’s busy workshop in Benfleet, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals looking to develop their career within a reputable and forward-thinking company. The successful MET Technician will be instrumental in delivering high-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance services, contributing to a well-established team committed to excellence.

Competitive basic salary of up to £56,160 per annum
OTE of up to £60,000 per year
Hourly rate of £20 to £24 based on experience
45 hours per week, with overtime opportunities

Duties:

Conducting repairs and servicing on various vehicle makes and models as an MET Technician
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
Using specialised equipment to undertake repairs and inspections
Ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality standards
Maintaining accurate job records and communicating effectively with team members
Advising customers on necessary repairs and service options
Supporting the workshop team to meet targets and maintain high standards of work Requirements:

Proven experience as an MET Technician or Auto Electrician
Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance and repair
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
A commitment to high standards of safety and quality
