We are seeking a Junior Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager to the team across project sites and office locations in the region. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career professional eager to launch a career in construction project management while learning directly from industry experts.
This hybrid role offers a blend of hands-on field exposure and structured office training to build foundational skills in estimating, coordination, and project delivery. You’ll gain real-world insight into how complex building-envelope projects come together and advance toward a full Assistant Project Manager track.
What You'll Do as the Junior Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager:
- Support project managers with planning, documentation, and day-to-day coordination
- Assist with quantity takeoffs and cost estimating for proposals and bids
- Participate in meetings and facilitate communication between vendors, crews, and internal teams
- Help prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, and schedule updates
- Visit job sites to observe progress, track performance, and understand field operations
- Learn construction software, reporting tools, and best practices from experienced PMs
Must-Haves as the Junior Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Demonstrated interest in commercial construction and project execution
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Ability to work in both office and jobsite settings
- Self-motivation, curiosity, and a willingness to grow into greater responsibility
Nice-to-Haves as the Junior Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager:
- Familiarity with project scheduling or estimating software
- Internship or co-op experience on construction projects
- Understanding of building systems, materials, or the building envelope
- Basic knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
