In collaboration with the building principal, responsible for all faculty and staff.

Assistant Principal, in the absence of the principal, shall assume responsibility for the school. They are accountable to the principal and will execute duties as directed, which may encompass providing assistance in the direction, organization, supervision, evaluation, administration, and discipline of the school and related employees. As an educational leader, and in conjunction with the principal, the Assistant Principal will assume a vital role within the school's leadership team, overseeing the administration and management of daily operations to cultivate a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

The Assistant Principal will collaborate with the principal, faculty, staff, and students to uphold academic standards, promote student success, and contribute to the overall excellence of the school.

• Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
• New Hampshire state certification in Educational Leadership (or eligible).
• Relevant administrative experience in a high school setting is preferred.
• Minimum five years of successful experience teaching high school.
• Strong knowledge of the most recent educational policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Collaborate with the principal to develop and implement educational programs that align with state and district standards.
• Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes academic achievement, character development, and student well-being.
• Oversee student discipline, implementing fair and consistent disciplinary procedures.
• Work with teachers, counselors, and support staff to address students' academic and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with the principal in supervising and evaluating teaching staff.
• Provide constructive feedback to support professional growth and development.
• Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Stay informed about educational trends, research, and best practices to enhance teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with the principal and district team to ensure a safe and secure school environment.
• Implement and oversee emergency response procedures.
• Communicate effectively with parents, fostering a strong home-school partnership.
• Engage with the local community to build positive relationships and support.
• Assist in the day-to-day administrative operations of the school.
• Participate in meetings, committees, and professional development activities as required.

• Performs other related duties as required by supervisor(s).
• Attendance at school events, meetings, and activities as required.
• Evening and weekend availability for school-related events as required.
