Lead, shape, and elevate nursing care in a growing recovery program.
Linocln Recovery is seeking a collaborative and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee medical operations across our Residential and IOP/PHP Programs. This is a key leadership role responsible for guiding nursing practice, ensuring regulatory excellence, and partnering with clinical leadership to deliver high-quality, client-centered care.
This role is ideal for a nursing leader who enjoys building teams, improving systems, and making a meaningful impact in substance use recovery..
What You'll Do- Lead and support the onsite nursing team, ensuring exceptional delivery of detox and residential medical services.
- Oversee the implementation, documentation, and reporting of care activities, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance standards.
- Consult with providers on client health needs and contribute to diagnostic assessments and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate, compliant medical records and review client charts daily.
- Manage medical supply inventory and ensure clinical spaces remain well-equipped.
- Participate actively in discharge planning, interdisciplinary case reviews, and quality improvement processes.
- Communicate with clients and their support systems to address questions, concerns, and care coordination needs.
- Provide direct client care, including medication administration, lab processing, education on prescribed medications, and group facilitation as needed.
- Active RN license, with ability to practice in Illinois.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to complete background check, drug screen, and TB test.
- 3-5 years of nursing experience, ideally in substance use treatment or behavioral health.
- 1-3 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Familiarity with medical records systems and documentation standards.
