Key Requirements- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, P.E. license or advanced degree is a plus, not required
- 15+ years of management and heavy civil infrastructure projects w/TXDOT valued at $100M+
- 2+ years of project management
- Heavy construction, asphalt, pavement, roads and asphalt plant management
- Ability to meet deadlines, detail oriented, organized and excellent follow-through
- Proven record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget
- Proficient with interpreting plans and specs and developing construction schedules
- Experience in leadership, team development and decision making
- Excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with reporting and electronic documentation
- Experience with Heavy Job, Heavy Bid, Viewpoint, and Procore preferred
- Proficient in MS Office, Primavera P6, and construction management software
- Ability to reside in or travel throughout the RGV area as project needs require
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Able to pass a background clearance
