Language Requirements
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Academic and Licensure RequirementsMaster's degree in social work with clinical experience, or Master's in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science with direct clinical experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 5 years clinical employment experience. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure.

- Emergency behavior intervention
Required:
2 years related experience and/or training, or 5 years clinical employment experience accompanying a bachelor's degree.
- Prepare goal-oriented psychosocial diagnostic assessments, service plans and progress reports.
- Facilitate or co‑facilitate a minimum of two children's groups weekly on specific topics and issues.
- Provide case consultations, weekly one‑to‑one counseling and/or crisis intervention for children, and biweekly family counseling for each family represented.
- Meet all pre‑determined deadlines required by program supervisor and federal partners.
- Support, encourage, and recruit foster parents (Foster Care Programs).
- Pass a pre‑employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
- Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
- Pass a pre‑employment and biennial criminal background checks.
- Demonstrate skills in:
- Group, individual, and family therapy
- A range of treatment modalities
- Demonstrate the ability to:
- Respond sensitively and competently to the service population's cultural and socio‑economic characteristics.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals.
- Provide crisis intervention according to training provided by Compass Connections when needed to maintain a safe environment.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times.
- Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
- Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures.
- Meet annual influenza vaccination requirement or obtain approved exemption as a medical or religious accommodation; provide proof of vaccination.
