- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with associates to build a strong meat team, communicate with team members, and be flexible to work in other areas as needed.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety, sanitation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance. Prepare meat products (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) according to established standards and maintain product quality.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and support associate engagement. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality.
- Be an Owner: Commit to operational excellence, maintain work area per company policies, enforce quality and date control standards, secure fragile merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure products are properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, value the member experience, model high‑quality service and products, execute basics at the highest level, and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; use the Open Door Policy and apply it in executing business processes.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; recommend improvement opportunities; and adapt to change and feedback.
- Hourly wage range: $18.00 – $26.00 (actual rate meets or exceeds local minimum wage)
- Premiums: $0.35 – $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed
