Cake Decorator

Position Summary

As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; provide customer service and maintain inventory and shrinkage control.
• Plan bakery productions to ensure consistent quality and accurate decorative designs per recipes; use diverse decorating techniques; ensure food safety, sanitation, cold chain compliance, inventory management; maintain and sanitize equipment.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology for production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
• Drive performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control; eliminate waste; prepare for seasonal events; identify member needs; assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
• Act as a brand advocate, model high‑quality service and products, interact with associates to understand roadblocks, assist in training, influencing and inspiring others in a respectful, supportive, team‑oriented style.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; implement action plans, use the Open Door policy, and support the company’s values.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; determine improvement opportunities and adapt to change.
• Promote diversity, inclusion, customer focus, integrity, and continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility.

• At least 6 months’ experience in a fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Will successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.

• Experience in cake decorating.

$20.00 to $28.00 per hour (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage). Premiums may be added for schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
