Construction Foreman – Conveyor Installation
We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead conveyor system installation projects at customer sites within the material handling and conveyor systems installation industry. This role involves supervising crews, coordinating daily construction activities, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring conveyor installations are completed on schedule and according to specifications. The ideal candidate possesses strong construction leadership experience, is comfortable working at heights, operating lifts, and managing teams in active industrial and commercial environments.
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise conveyor installation crews on job sites.
- Coordinate daily work activities to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Read and interpret blueprints, layout drawings, and construction plans.
- Direct the assembly, installation, and alignment of conveyor systems and related equipment.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements.
- Operate and oversee the safe use of scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other elevated work platforms.
- Work at heights while inspecting, installing, and troubleshooting conveyor components.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and customers to resolve field issues.
- Track labor productivity, materials, and project progress.
- Train and mentor installers and lead hands.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure installations meet customer specifications.
- Travel to project sites as required.
- 3+ years of construction foreman, superintendent, or crew leadership experience.
- Experience leading commercial, industrial, or conveyor installation projects.
- Ability to work at heights and in elevated work environments.
- Experience operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, and aerial equipment.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple installers.
- Comfortable working overtime, weekends, and traveling for projects when needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Skills & Qualifications
- Conveyor installation or material handling equipment experience.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Fall Protection certification.
- Rigging and signaling experience.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades.
- Mechanical installation, structural steel, or industrial construction background.

Work EnvironmentWork in active industrial and commercial environments, both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Engage in frequent climbing, kneeling, bending, and standing tasks, often at elevated heights using ladders, scissor lifts, and aerial platforms. The role requires lifting over 50 pounds and adherence to a safety-compliant dress code.
Job Type & LocationThis is a contract position based out of Raymore, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
