Position: Senior Executive Assistant to the President of DePuy Synthes

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Executive Assistant to the President of DePuy Synthes. The role will provide high‑level administrative support to the DePuy Synthes CEO following the company’s upcoming spin‑off, which is expected to be completed within 18‑24 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the CEO, fostering positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Secretary’s office and Board of Directors assistants on scheduling and coordination.
  • Handle complex and dynamic calendars with strong prioritization skills.
  • Coordinate high‑level meetings, including Executive Committee sessions, DePuy Synthes leadership meetings, and off‑site events.
  • Arrange intricate domestic and international travel and process expense reports promptly.
  • Prepare and manage eMarketplace purchase orders and check requisitions.
  • Use technology platforms (Zoom, Teams) to optimize virtual and in‑person interactions.
  • Support activities related to interview scheduling, hiring, and onboarding as needed.
  • Maintain flexibility and anticipate changes to daily schedules with advanced organizational skills.
  • Stay informed on company policies and procedures.
  • Handle confidential and critical information with discretion and integrity.
  • Guide workflow for other administrative support when required.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma required;
    Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of executive‑level administrative support experience.
  • Proven expertise in complex calendar management and travel coordination.
  • Ability to partner effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Prior experience supporting the head of a major corporate function preferred.
  • Experience supporting a Human Resources function is helpful but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain highly confidential information.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong knowledge of Ariba/e‑Marketplace, Concur, travel systems, and Workday.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, self‑starter with strong customer focus.
  • Experience in a complex, global, fast‑paced environment preferred.
  • Position based in New Brunswick, NJ; up to 5% local travel may be required.

Pay range: $ – $.

Benefits
  • Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year.
  • Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year;
    Colorado residents 48 hours;
    Washington residents 56 hours.
  • Holiday pay – 13 days per calendar year (incl. Floating Holidays).
  • Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year.
  • Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child.
  • Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member; 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year.
  • Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52‑week rolling period.
  • Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year.
  • Military Spouse Time‑Off – 80 hours per calendar year.

Employees are eligible to participate in the company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible for the Company’s long‑term incentive program.
