About the Role: Kelly Services is proud to partner with Johnson & Johnson to offer an exciting opportunity for a Buyer. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented and results‑driven procurement professional with expertise in supplier management, purchasing, contract negotiation, and SAP ERP software. The position offers three days on‑site and two days remote, providing opportunities to contribute to key supply chain initiatives in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle, ensuring timely and cost‑effective purchasing of materials and components.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring seamless communication, proactive issue resolution, and alignment with business needs.

Material Planning & Inventory Management:

• Execute MRP strategies to align procurement activities with production demands and operational goals.
• Monitor supplier performance, analyze constraints, and resolve bottlenecks to maintain supply continuity.
• Manage inventory levels, warehouse capacity, and material transitions to minimize excess and obsolete stock.

SAP & Data‑Driven Decision Making:

• Utilize SAP for purchase order management, supplier performance tracking, and demand forecasting.
• Leverage real‑time data insights to enhance procurement efficiency, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and ensure supply chain optimization.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

• Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to align material flow with business objectives.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, enhance forecasting accuracy, and mitigate procurement risks.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, corporate policies, and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in MRP, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP (purchase orders, inventory management, supplier tracking).
• Analytical mindset with the ability to optimize supply chain processes and drive cost savings.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills with a collaborative approach.
