Position: Product Value Stream Leader - Shoulders (Orthopaedics)

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Product Value Stream Leader – Shoulder to join our team at diverse locations:
Raynham, MA;
Raritan, NJ;
Warsaw, IN;

Cork, IE. The role will be part of DePuy Synthes following its planned separation from Johnson & Johnson within 18‑24 months.

As a Product Value Stream Leader, you will lead the End‑to‑End (E2E) Supply Chain initiatives for the Shoulder Platform, balancing strategic and tactical responsibilities in a global, cross‑functional environment.

Responsibilities
  • Maximize the impact of Supply Chain management by maturing the E2E operating model.
  • Demonstrate strong facilitation, influencing, and decision‑making skills in high ambiguity and risk environments.
  • Continuously improve E2E performance through the Johnson & Johnson Operating System (JJOS) and deliverables such as Product Strategy Roadmap, Life‑cycle Portfolio Prioritization, Product Performance Management, Issue Management, Stakeholder Management, and Portfolio Optimization.
  • Measure, analyze, and develop new data techniques to provide deep insights and build digital analytical capabilities.
  • Facilitate the development, creation, and refresh of the Product Strategy Roadmap, collaborating with business partners and incorporating external threats and business imperatives.
  • Drive prioritization within the Supply Chain project portfolio, build business cases, and allocate resources.
  • Enable rapid issue resolution of critical supply and quality events and manage senior leader communications.
  • Publish and promote Supply Chain performance, coordinating communication between functions and senior leaders.
  • Analyze and recommend optimal product portfolio mix, developing solutions for cost and inventory optimization.
  • Focus on shoulder reconstruction within the Joints Franchise of DePuy Synthes.
  • Build a future vision, gain support, and align stakeholders.
  • Own analysis, planning, execution, improvement, and monitoring of performance; review strategic capacity and capital plans.
  • Develop business cases, evaluate risks, implement mitigating solutions, and create content to advance Supply Chain maturity.
  • Model E2E scenarios, provide options and recommendations to senior leaders, and link franchise strategy to supply‑chain network strategy.
Qualifications – Required
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 8years of experience in Supply Chain, R&D, or Commercial functions.
  • Experience driving operational excellence with measurable financial, quality, and customer service results.
  • Minimum 4years of cross‑functional experience, achieving results through internal and external relationships.
  • Minimum 2years of documented project management experience.
  • Experience across demand/production planning, sourcing, manufacturing, inventory management, or delivery to customer.
  • Up to 25% domestic and international travel.
Qualifications – Preferred
  • Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, planning, project management, procurement, engineering, or R&D.
  • PMI/FPX, Green Belt, Black Belt/Master Black Belt certification (Lean or Six Sigma).
  • Direct manufacturing experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Understanding of financial processes such as P&L calculation and COGS.
  • Global exposure in previous roles.
  • Strong understanding of the new product introduction process.
Travel & Compensation

Up to 25% domestic and international travel. Base salary range: $122,000 – $212,750. Benefits include retirement plans, health insurance, 120hours of vacation, 40hours of sick time (48hours in Colorado, 56hours in Washington), holidays, and other employee benefits available through the company portal.
