Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Project Manager to join our Boston, MA office. In this role you will oversee environmental compliance projects across manufacturing, mining, public sector, and real estate markets. You will lead project teams in preparing and reviewing permit applications (air, water, solid waste), compliance reports (TRI, Form R, RCRA), compliance plans (Spill Prevention & Countermeasures Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans), and conducting compliance audits.
Responsibilities- Develop proposals and project budgets, and manage project financials.
- Lead technical staff, produce technical reports, and perform quality control duties.
- Conduct compliance audits and manage project‑related administrative tasks.
- Interact directly with clients, contractors, and federal/state government officials.
- Mentor staff and support professional development activities.
Available at our Boston, Raynham, MA or Peabody, MA offices. We offer a flexible/hybrid work schedule.
Compensation and BenefitsPay range: $70,000 – $100,000. Benefits include matching 401(k), profit sharing, performance bonus, company stock, medical, dental and vision insurance, short- and long-term disability, tuition assistance, professional development, and work‑life balance.
Qualifications- 10+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or environmental consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Professional Engineer licensure (P.E.) or Licensed Site Professional (LSP), or other related licensure preferred.
- Clear understanding of environmental regulations and ability to communicate obligations to clients.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of evolving regulations and their impact on clients.
- Established client network and ability to pursue new clients.
- Experience in developing proposals and technical submittals.
- Participation in client‑ and professional‑development organizations.
