Job Overview
Support the Financial Planning & Analysis organization by delivering timely, accurate financial insights through data‑driven analysis. Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to help with budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and to standardize the use of financial and operational data.
Key Responsibilities- Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, including variance and trend analysis.
- Prepare actual vs. forecast and actual vs. plan analyses for management reporting.
- Assemble, track, and analyze monthly business performance metrics and trends.
- Enhance, standardize, and improve the use of financial and operational data and reporting tools.
- Identify issues, risks, and opportunities through financial analysis and recommend actions.
- Assist in preparing presentations and materials for senior management and business reviews.
- Provide day‑to‑day analytical and operational finance support to internal stakeholders.
- Adhere to established safety, privacy, and confidentiality standards and apply the Johnson & Johnson Credo in daily work.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience and Skills –
Required:
2‑4 years of relevant finance, FP&A, analytics or related experience; foundational knowledge of financial planning, forecasting and reporting; strong analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines; clear written and verbal communication. - Experience and Skills – Preferred: Experience with data visualization or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau); exposure to budgeting and forecasting cycles in a matrixed organization; experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain or commercial finance; understanding of standard accounting principles and financial controls; experience preparing materials for senior leadership audiences; CPA, CMA or similar certifications preferred.
