* DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Sr. Manager, Close / A2R, located in Raynham, Massachusetts.

The Sr. Manager, Close / A2R is responsible for leading end‑to‑end accounting close and accounting‑to‑reporting (A2R) activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting for DePuy Synthes. This role partners closely with Finance, FP&A, Treasury, and Shared Services to strengthen close governance, improve processes, and support business transformation initiatives. The position plays a critical role in enabling high‑quality financial reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable accounting operations .

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Lead and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

+ Own end‑to‑end A2R activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

+ Establish andmaintainstrong close governance, controls, and documentation to support internal and external audit requirements.

+ Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and business teams to ensure alignment between operational activity and financial results.

+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline close timelines, improve data quality, and enhance reporting efficiency.

+ Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

+ Support system implementations, process standardization, and finance transformation initiativesimpacting

A2R processes.

+ Serve as a key finance leader supporting business changes, restructurings, and other complex accounting matters.

* + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ora related field (required).

+ MBA or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance(preferred).

* + Typically requires8-10 yearsof progressive experience in accounting, close, A2R, or financial reporting roles.

+ Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

+ Demonstrated experience leading complex close processes in a large, matrixed organization.

+ Provenpeopleleadership experience, including managing and developing teams.

Experience with A2R transformation, shared services, or global accounting models.

Experience with ERP and financial close systems (e.g., SAP or similar platforms).

+ Background in a manufacturing, medical device, or healthcare environment.

+ Experience supporting audits, regulatory reviews, and complex accounting topics.

+ CPA or equivalent professional certification.

+ Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

+ Ability to partner effectively with cross‑functional and senior stakeholders.
