Senior Financial Analyst – Supply Chain (DePuy Synthes)
Responsibilities
- Manage/coordinate monthly financial close for local ledger; ensure sub-ledgers update to GL accurately and timely.
- Prepare standard monthly management reports; perform monthly variance analysis (P&L and balance sheet).
- Maintain policies/procedures for required journal entries to GL.
- Provide financial leadership/business partner support to supply chain finance and category teams.
- Forecast/track/analyze manufacturing projects, capital investments, market-based inflation drivers, and functional costs.
- Own annual/ad‑hoc standard cost process; execute cost simulation and final annual standard costing.
- Analyze actual vs. standard manufacturing variances.
- Identify continuous improvements; partner on future‑state process improvements.
- Support/coordinate financial compliance (internal/external audits).
- Support Bridgewater Make facility organization and non‑plant activities; support RY & BW Orthopedics Value Stream with financial metrics/ad‑hoc requests.
- Own SOPs and process flow charts; update as processes change.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting/Finance preferred).
- CPA/MBA/CMA or other financial certification preferred.
- 3+ years finance experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel and presentation skills required.
- Collaborative in a matrix organization; work independently; interface with all management levels.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication/interpersonal skills; can handle multiple tasks and recommend/implement process improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- SAP and/or Anaplan (preferred); intermediate‑advanced Excel required.
- Based in Raynham, MA; up to 10% travel.
- Budgeting, expense controls, financial analysis/modeling/reporting, forecasting, risk management, statement analysis.
- Relationship building, problem solving, technical credibility, vendor management.
- Vacation (120 hrs/yr)
