Overview

Raynham Police Department is the primary public safety and law enforcement agency in Raynham, Massachusetts, based at 53 Orchard St. The department is dedicated to maintaining law and order, fostering a safer community, and upholding justice and public trust.

This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Civil Service Lateral Transfer Patrol Officer with the Raynham Police Department. The Patrol Officer will maintain public safety, ensure compliance with laws, and respond to emergencies. Daily tasks include enforcing laws and ordinances, conducting patrols, engaging with community members, investigating incidents, and assisting in emergency situations as needed. Collaboration with fellow law‑enforcement personnel and other local agencies is a key component.

• Experience in Physical Security and Law Enforcement, including patrolling and investigating incidents.
• Strong customer‑service and communication skills to interact effectively with community members.
• Proficiency in emergency services, including responding to urgent situations professionally and effectively.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts laws and regulations and experience in public safety is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other officers and agencies.
• Massachusetts Civil Service eligibility and a valid driver’s license required.
