Job Description

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Sr. Manager, US Ortho Field Operations, to join our Orthopedic team, located in either West Chester, PA or Raynham, MA.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategy for the Spine, Sports, & CMF Last Mile Activities and implement consistently across platforms.
  • Ensure a complete, impactful Operating Model that delivers value and enables a customer-centric, performance-driven last-mile operations capability.
  • Develop performance management processes that provide a coordinated view of service, asset efficiency, and cash optimization.
  • Lead inventory and technology programs associated with traceability and digital improvements, collaborating with relevant functions.
  • Cultivate positive relationships across Supply Chain and Commercial teams to translate customer needs into actionable strategies.
  • Optimize cash management of inventory, minimizing E&O and SLOB.
  • Improve field audit processes in collaboration with Field Sales Teams to improve accuracy, compliance, and reconciliation results.
  • Partner with commercial teams to innovate business models and customer connectivity.
Qualifications

Education
:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor s or equivalent University degree required, preferably in life science, engineering, or physical science.
  • An advanced degree in Planning, Business, Statistics, or Engineering is preferred.

Required

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
:

  • A minimum of eight years of significant work experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and leadership skills; ability to communicate across all organizational levels.
  • Experience in the Medical Device industry with a solid understanding of relevant regulations.
  • Experience in ERP/OTC system implementation and usage.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality and financial principles and practices.

Preferred

  • APICS, Six Sigma, IBF, or Project Management certification.
  • Previous experience in developing performance metrics and improvement strategies.
  • Background in leading cross-functional teams.
