HR Business Partner

The HRBP serves as a trusted HR partner to assigned business units and leadership teams in the areas of workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, employee relations, and performance management. Working collaboratively with HR leadership, the HRBP supports the implementation of HR initiatives and provides guidance to managers and colleagues while continuing to develop business partnership and organizational effectiveness capabilities.
The HRBP collaborates across the HR team and with cross-functional partners to develop and implement HR policies, programs, and initiatives that support the Bank's strategic objectives and reflect the organization's core values of integrity, respect, collaboration, inclusivity, and care.
Essential job functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification required.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Experience in talent acquisition and workforce planning.
- Experience successfully managing employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Ability to support HR initiatives that align with business objectives and workforce needs.
- Ability to support organizational change initiatives and effectively guide colleagues through change.
- Ability to analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to support data-informed decision-making.
- Ability to support initiatives that improve team effectiveness, colleague engagement, and organizational performance.
- Understanding of federal and state employment law, including FMLA, PFML, ADA.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Coaching and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, professionalism, work ethic, and confidentiality.
- Advanced technology and workflow process competencies, including HR Systems.
- Understanding of business operations and ability to apply HR practices to support organizational goals.
