Job Overview
The Manager, Global Process Leader is responsible for supporting global procurement process ownership, systems, tools, and digital capabilities to enable scalable, compliant, and insight‑driven procurement operations across DePuy Synthes. The role partners closely with Global Process Owners, Procurement leaders, IT, and other enabling functions to execute process improvements, optimize procurement systems, and support global adoption of standardized procurement processes and platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Support Global Process Owners in governing and continuously improving end‑to‑end procurement processes.
- Manage day‑to‑day activities related to procurement systems and enabling technologies, including enhancements, upgrades, and issue resolution.
- Support deployment, adoption, and optimization of enterprise procurement platforms (e.g., contract lifecycle management, pricing, analytics, and related tools).
- Partner with Procurement, IT, Finance, Legal, and Commercial stakeholders to translate business needs into effective system and process solutions.
- Assist in defining and tracking process performance metrics, system adoption, and value realization.
- Support process standardization, simplification, and automation initiatives aligned to global procurement strategy.
- Contribute to change management, training, and communication efforts to drive user adoption and compliance.
- Coordinate with external vendors and technology partners to support delivery, performance, and cost management.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field).
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 6–8 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, or Systems Enablement within a complex or regulated environment.
- Experience supporting procurement processes, systems, or digital enablement initiatives.
- Working knowledge of procurement technologies such as CLM, ERP, sourcing, pricing, or analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project coordination skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization.
- Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills.
- Experience supporting global process ownership (GPO) or procurement operating model initiatives.
- Exposure to process improvement, automation, or procurement transformation programs.
- Familiarity with change management and system deployment activities.
- Experience working with external technology vendors or implementation partners.
- Background in Med Tech, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
- Languages:
English required; additional languages a plus. - Travel:
Up to 15–20%, primarily domestic. - Certifications:
Project management or systems certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, ITIL) preferred.
Anticipated base pay range: $ – $
Benefits (subject to approval and eligibility):
- Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year (48 hours for Colorado residents; 56 hours for Washington residents)
- Holiday pay – 13 days per calendar year, including floating holidays
- Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
- Parental leave – 480 hours within one year of birth/adoption/foster care of a child
- Bereavement leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member; 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
- Caregiver leave – 80 hours in a 52‑week rolling period (10 days)
- Volunteer leave – 32 hours per calendar year
- Military Spouse Time‑Off – 80 hours per calendar year
