Overview

DePuy Synthes, a member of Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting for a senior demand planning analyst in Raynham, MA. The role reports to the US Regional Demand Planning Senior Manager and involves leading the US demand Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, driving forecast accuracy, and collaborating across functions to ensure customer service and inventory goals are met.

Responsibilities
  • Chair US Demand SOP/IBP meetings and forums.
  • Lead demand planning activities for assigned products and maintain demand and forecast data integrity.
  • Manage implant/instrument forecasts in a high SKU environment using statistical software and new product modeling.
  • Achieve forecast accuracy targets (MAPE & BIAS) and continuously improve.
  • Review statistical forecasts and provide input on necessary changes, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Finance.
  • Develop detailed execution plans for new product introductions and life‑cycle management aligned with key stakeholders.
  • Adhere to the monthly forecast upload cycle, reporting forecast accuracy metrics and consumption data.
  • Communicate business‑related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of related professional experience.
  • Experience in medical device, consumer, or pharmaceutical industries preferred.
  • Supply‑chain certification (APICS/IBF/Six Sigma) preferred.
  • Hands‑on experience in inventory, planning, order management, ERP or MRP systems, and financial processes.
  • Strong prioritization, decision‑making, strategic planning, judgment, influencing, and project‑management skills.
  • Understanding of distribution links within the supply chain.
  • Experience with SOP/IBP preferred.
  • Business knowledge of US and international markets preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with advanced analytics and data visualisation tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik) preferred.

  • Communicate with key stakeholders including sales, marketing, commercial operations, finance, and supply chain partners.
  • Relentless focus on customer service.
  • Enable achievement of line‑item fill rate (LIFR) and on‑time-in‑full (OTIF) targets and continuous improvement.
  • Enable achievement of inventory targets and drive optimization.

Compensation

Base pay range: $79,000.00 to $.
