Manager, End-to-End Planning – Orthopedics (Spine)

Johnson & Johnson (DePuy Synthes). We are seeking an experienced supply chain leader to manage planning for the Spine portfolio.
- Manage end-to-end planning strategy and execution for the Spine product portfolio.
- Collaborate across demand, supply, inventory, service, capacity, and supply risk to meet financial and service goals.
- Govern planning methods, parameters, segmentation, tolerances, alerts, escalation thresholds and critical decision processes across the global network.
- Drive inventory strategy, replenishment approach, decoupling points, safety stock, lead times, and other planning parameters.
- Lead exception-based and scenario-based planning to resolve demand, supply, inventory and capacity imbalances while balancing customer service, cost, risk, and inventory exposure.
- Participate in S&OP/IBP forums and present risks, opportunities, assumptions, trade-offs, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Drive planning readiness for new product introductions, lifecycle changes, regional launches, regulatory transitions, and supply network changes.
- Own and manage planning performance, including OTIF, CBO, plan attainment, forecast accuracy, inventory days of supply, SLOB, backorder reduction, and supply commit adherence.
- Lead, coach and develop End‑to‑End Planning Analysts, building an inclusive, high‑performing team with clear goals and development plans.
- Communicate business‑related issues or opportunities to next‑level management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental practices and company regulations.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business or related discipline preferred.
- At least 6 years of progressive supply chain planning or related business experience.
- Experience leading demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, S&OP/IBP, new product launch or technical operations.
- Global, matrixed environment experience.
- Proficiency with ERP and advanced planning systems (SAP, APO, OMP, or equivalent).
- Strong scenario planning, analytical and visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.).
- Business acumen across end-to-end supply chain, commercial priorities, inventory strategy and executive communication.
- Executive communication and stakeholder influence across cross‑functional teams.
- English proficiency; additional languages advantageous.
- Travel up to 10% domestic or international.
- Preferred: experience in regulated manufacturing, medical device life sciences supply chains, new product introduction planning, portfolio management, and industry certifications (APICS CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, etc.).
Base salary range: $102,000 – $177,100 per year. Eligible for long‑term incentive program, retirement plans, health and wellness benefits, paid time off, and parental, bereavement, caregiver and volunteer leave as outlined by company policy.
