Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

The Enabling Tech SI&D Project lead is responsible for executing strategic initiatives focused on driving E2E transformation to strengthen operational performance.

The position requires strong project management capabilities, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into executable programs with measurable impact.

• PMO & Project Leadership
• Ensure transparency through standardized reporting and executive project updates
• Identify interdependencies and proactively manage risks within project
• Track progress against milestones, KPIs, and value realization targets, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery
• Strategic Initiative Execution
• Develop planning deliverables including detailed timelines, budget tracker, risk & mitigations, and decision logs, escalation paths, and overall project governance.
• Lead end-to-end execution of platform strategic supply chain project or work streams in support to initiatives that will improve financial performance and support business growth, including Capacity expansion, COGS reduction and working capital optimization.
• Drive alignment across stakeholders, including value stream leaders, operations, finance, procurement, planning, quality and engineering teams
• Partner closely with Finance to ensure transparency of benefits and tracking of value realization
• Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management
• Act as a central connector across functions, ensuring alignment on priorities and execution
• Influence without authority in a matrixed organization
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership
• Continuous Improvement & Analytics
• Leverage data, metrics, and analytics to identify improvement opportunities
• Establish dashboards and KPIs to measure initiative performance and impact
• Apply operational excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)

Qualifications

Education:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Supply Chain. An Advanced Degree is helpful.

Required

Experience and Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Planning, or related business functions.
• Proven success leading cross-functional projects and/or strategic initiatives with measurable business results.
