Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone Orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans.

The Staff Project Manager will execute projects using appropriate project management methodology while providing leadership and guidance to project team members. The Staff Project Manager identifies critical path elements within the product development process and recommends corrective actions to be implemented into project plans.

• Provide personal expertise, as well as project leadership.
• Understand and follow the New Product Development process accurately and maintain high quality.
• Manage project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques.
• Actively manage the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project schedule.
• Develop documentation; monitor and report project status; assess the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation as required.
• Analyze and report project status and research information; monitor project performance to maintain the quality of services, deliverables, and content.
• Identify and eliminate roadblocks during project execution in alignment with business goals.
• Interact with senior leadership and key stakeholders, both internal and external to the Platform, to establish strategic plans and objectives for programs or projects.
• Lead work streams to drive improvements to business processes and project management methodologies, reducing time to market and elevating execution excellence in project management.
