Technology Manager, Quality Systems, AI Lead
DePuy Synthes is recruiting for this Technology Manager, Quality Systems, AI Lead position located in Raritan, New Jersey, West Chester, Pennsylvania, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Raynham, Massachusetts, Warsaw, Indiana, USA. This role leads the design and continuous improvement of quality systems, ensuring reliability, compliance, and scalability of technology platforms while embedding AI-driven innovation. You will directly impact product quality, operational excellence, and patient outcomes by strengthening quality management practices across systems, data, and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of quality management frameworks across Supply Chain Technology systems, ensuring compliance, reliability, and performance
- Oversee digital quality programs, including system validation, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business and regulatory requirements
- Drive the integration of AI and advanced analytics into quality systems to enhance monitoring, predictive insights, and process optimization
- Establish and monitor quality metrics, dashboards, and scorecards to evaluate system performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (IT, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory) to ensure alignment on quality standards and execution priorities
- Lead risk management activities, including assessment of system controls, mitigation strategies, and issue escalation processes
- Guide process improvement initiatives, leveraging methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement practices
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards, including auditing systems, interpreting regulations, and implementing required changes
- Manage and develop a team, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development support
- Foster a culture of quality, innovation, and accountability aligned with organizational values and business goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience in IT, digital quality, or quality systems management
- Demonstrated experience implementing and managing IT/digital quality frameworks and systems
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, risk management, and system validation in a regulated environment
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams and complex technology programs
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience interpreting system performance data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent)
- Experience applying AI/ML or advanced analytics to quality systems or supply chain processes
- Background in Supply Chain Technology or Med Tech environments
- Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and enterprise system implementations
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or quality management methodologies
- Experience with audit processes and regulatory inspections
- Knowledge of enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, MES, or quality management systems)
- Experience working in global or matrixed organizations
- Base Pay Range: $ – $ USD per year
- Travel:
Up to 20% domestic travel - Certifications:
AI/Analytics certifications preferred, Lean Six Sigma, Quality certifications - Vacation: 120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time: 40 hours per calendar year (48 hours for Colorado residents, 56 hours for Washington residents)
- Holiday pay, including floating holidays: 13 days per calendar year
- Work, Personal and Family Time: up to 40 hours per calendar year
- Parental Leave: 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
- Bereavement Leave: 240 hours for an immediate family member; 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
- Caregiver Leave: 80 hours in a 52‑week rolling period
- Volunteer Leave: 32 hours per calendar year
- Military Spouse Time‑Off: 80 hours per calendar year
