Senior Manager, Safety​/PSM

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for environmental, health, safety, and Process Safety Management (PSM) programs at the site level
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations
• Drive development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety policies and management systems
• Serve as site subject‑matter expert for PSM, including hazard analysis and incident investigation
• Partner with site leadership and engineering to proactively identify and mitigate safety risks
• Lead safety audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions
• Analyze safety performance metrics to drive sustainable improvements
• Coach and develop leaders and employees to strengthen safety awareness and accountability

• Bachelor’s degree required in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical field
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing complex safety programs
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA PSM standards and related regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to lead investigations, risk assessments, and corrective action programs
• Experience influencing senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to drive safety performance
• Preferred:
  Experience supporting pharmaceutical, medical device, or highly regulated manufacturing environments
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
