Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a DFI Specialist
- Responsible for presenting business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Work with NPD and LCM project teams to advise on design for inspection requirements.
- Collaborating using DFI tools as the SME for inspection, GD&T, gage design and automated inspection technologies along with strong understanding of manufacturing processes to help drive the DFI discussion during Internal and external drawing reviews.
- Troubleshoot and problem solve quality issues applying basic research and analysis techniques. Functions as technical resource and “go-to” person regarding quality issues with their specific area.
- Recommends new inspection methods as required.
- Apply knowledge and expertise to conduct training on inspection methods.
- Program and run automated inspection equipment (CMM, Keyence, Sylvac, etc)
- Works independently to complete routine and complex inspections using applicable technical documents to verify product and services conform to quality and other engineering and Quality Assurance requirements.
- Work with external vendors (travel as needed) to qualify automated and non-automated inspection methods per local procedures.
- Ensure Inspectability of all dimensions
- Review GD&T and evaluate inspection requirements
- Feature criticality and gage requirements

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $92,000.00 – $
Pay TransparencySubject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Benefits- Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year (48 hours for Colorado, 56 hours for Washington)
- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – 13 days per calendar year
- Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
- Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
- Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member, 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
