Position Overview
As the In‑Store Shopper, you are responsible for selecting the best products for our online shoppers while also supporting in‑store customers. You must be proud of your work, care about selection accuracy, and be able to quickly identify substitute products when needed. When online order volume is low, you will help in other areas of the store as a part of a cross‑training effort.
Key Responsibilities- Choose, pack, and tag items for online orders, ensuring the “best of the best” for customers.
- Determine and provide suitable substitute products when required.
- Assist customers in the store, providing a friendly and enthusiastic shopping experience.
- Support other departments as needed and help balance store workload.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve techniques and product knowledge.
- Flexible and willing to work in different departments of the store.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate effectively with shoppers and teammates.
- Ability to work fast, stay organized, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math and reading skills for packing lists and inventory management.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Starting wage no less than the local minimum wage.
