Overview

GNC, a global leader in health and wellness innovation, is seeking a Store Manager to lead and develop a high‑performing retail team.

• Lead, coach and support a sales team to deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
• Oversee daily store operations including business performance, product management, merchandising and visual presentation.
• Maintain merchandising standards while ensuring products are visible and easy to purchase.
• Support the total shopping experience, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives and customer relationships to drive repeat business.
• Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals while helping associates reach their sales potential.
• Build strong teams, give performance feedback, recruit, hire and manage performance of store associates.
• Handle opening, closing and regular operations of the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory counting and deposits per GNC procedures.
• Represent GNC in community events, fairs, conferences and other public gatherings to promote the organization’s mission.

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
• Frequent reaching, bending, twisting and repetitive hand‑to‑finger motions.
• Frequent lifting up to 20 lbs, occasionally up to 40 lbs; push/pull up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders, reach and bend.
• Work in temperatures ranging from 50° to 85° F, especially in stock rooms.
• Use of a computer up to 60 % of the day.
• Managers of mall and strip center stores must work two nights during the week until closing, one weekend night and one other night, and a full shift on Saturdays for strip centers.
• Mall managers must work peak business days including weekends; one full Sunday per month.
• Downtown managers must work lunch hour 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday‑Friday, one night per week until closing if the store is open in the evening; not required to work Saturdays.
• Managers are expected to work all major U.S. holidays when the store is open.

Hourly supervisory position with opportunity to earn additional income through GNC’s Individual Sales Incentive Plan. Paid time off includes 11 vacation days, 5 sick days, 8 holiday days (6 floating, 2 observed) and 8‑week paid maternity leave plus 2‑week paid paternity leave.
