Overview

Nouria Energy Corporation is a family-owned wholesale fuel distributor and convenience store operator. Sales Associates play a key role in ensuring efficient station operation and customer satisfaction.

• Work a flexible schedule and communicate with management on store operations.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepare a shift report at the end of each shift per company guidelines.
• Provide an excellent customer experience, greet customers, suggest purchases, and promote specials.
• Assume full responsibility for implementing the customer service program at the site.
• Minimize safety risks to employees, customers, and suppliers; enforce environmental and hazardous material regulations.
• Maintain safety and security of the store and document accidents or incidents.
• Manage maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the store perimeter.
• Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support implementation of the Safety and Health program.
• Promptly report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses.
• Complete new employee safety orientation.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Read, understand, and write English at an eighth‑grade level.
• Perform arithmetic calculations at an eighth‑grade level for making change, shift reports, and vendor check‑in.
• Validate identification before selling tobacco or alcohol per regulations.
• Can lift up to 30 lbs and carry cases of beverages and containers using proper lifting techniques.
• Remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures during emergencies.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Work in various temperature environments (coolers, outdoor, store).
• Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.

• Lift up to 50 lbs at times.
• Traverse and access all areas of the store.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk or working on a computer.
• Prolonged periods standing.

Starting Rate: $15.50
