HVAC Installer

The Position

RCL Mechanical is looking for a HVAC Installer that can represent our core values and perform calls for HVAC clients. This individual will be working closely with dispatch and our service manager. The technician is tasked with client satisfaction and efficient field execution on all calls. Having overall responsibility for the success of the call from start to finish. We are looking to deliver the best service and we always strive for a 5-star service rating with all of our customers!

• Execute the installation of HVAC systems in residential and light commercial settings, including heating, cooling, and ventilation units.
• Ensure all required materials, tools, and equipment are ready for the installation process.
• Review and comprehend HVAC system blueprints, specifications, design plans, and technical documents to facilitate accurate installations.
• Assemble and configure HVAC equipment, such as air handlers, condensers, furnaces, and ductwork, following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
• Fabricate and install ductwork for proper airflow distribution, efficiency and design.
• Install and reconnect electrical components, thermostats, and control systems, ensuring proper wiring and functionality.
• Conduct thorough inspections/registrations of installed systems to ensure compliance with company standards, local & state codes, and regulations.
• Perform operational tests on installed HVAC systems to verify functionality and efficiency.
• Provide customers with information and guidance on the operation and maintenance of newly installed HVAC systems.
