Inside our branches, the Branch Manager is the frontline leader for the branch team, setting the tone to ensure associates are eager to assist customers and deliver unparalleled service while helping develop associates and execute UMB’s retail strategy.
Responsibilities- Coach associates on performance, including proactive sales conversations, operational items, and customer interactions.
- Assist customers with teller transactions and perform a variety of banker functions.
- Provide guidance on handling complex account maintenance and resolving customer escalations.
- Collaborate with internal partners such as small business officers, mortgage officers, private wealth managers, and others.
- Receive continued education and training to meet individual sales performance and operational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or comparable college education and/or business experience.
- At least 3 years of leadership, associate development, or sales experience.
- 3+ years of banking/financial services experience, or a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
- Current or attain NMLS registration within 90 days.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
Compensation Range: $57,760.00 - $. This range represents UMB’s standard for this role; actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors. The range does not encompass the full earning potential for this role.
