Position

Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team.

$15.00 to $17.70 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.11 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

• VACATION:
  One week of paid vacation after six months; additional vacation after one year; and two weeks on each anniversary thereafter. 120 hours after five years (subject to state/local requirements).
• SICK/PERSONAL: 8 hours after 6 months; 16 hours each anniversary thereafter (years 2-5); 24 hours after five years (subject to state/local requirements).

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

They thrive on engaging with customers and assist with customer inquiries and problem resolution. The associates work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and much more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage, PLUS commission based on productivity. The actual pay is based on factors such as location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Explains the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, maintaining a positive work environment.
• Collaborates with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training successfully.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Must be able to assist customers on exterior of the building when required.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Details provided during interview.
