• Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional customer experiences
• Recruit and onboard new team members while providing ongoing training and development to foster a high-performing team
• Manage employee schedules, payroll, and performance evaluations to optimize productivity and morale
• Oversee inventory management, including stock ordering, merchandising, pricing, and inventory control to maximize sales opportunities
• Implement effective marketing strategies and promotional displays to attract customers and increase sales
• Handle cash management duties such as cashiering, cash handling, balancing registers, and POS (Point of Sale) system oversight
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment adhering to safety standards and company policies

• Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities
• Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development
• Knowledge of retail math, budgeting, merchandising, inventory control, pricing strategies, and sales management
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and resolve customer issues promptly
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on team management and organizational skills
• Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail sales or grocery stores is preferred
