Technical Segment Product Manager (IST, North Reading, MA)

We are seeking a dynamic Inbound Product Manager to shape our future System Level Tester product strategy within the Integrated System Test Business Unit. In this critical role, you will define and drive the vision and roadmap, craft customer‑centric value statements, manage the product lifecycle, and steer our market positioning with clarity, purpose and confidence.

Your leadership will directly influence how our products integrate and excel across segments, positioning Teradyne as the go‑to provider in semiconductor testing. By partnering with a diverse range of customers—from agile startups to global leaders—you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our product suite and the industry at large.

• Strategic Vision &
  
  Roadmap:
  
  Synthesize emerging market trends to define and execute the long‑term vision for the System Level Test Platform.
• Value Proposition Development:
  Collaborate with Sales, Product Development and Marketing to create a compelling value proposition, tailored to diverse markets including Datacenter Computing/AI, Mobility and Automotive Digital.
• Product Management:
  Own the product definition, policy, structure, forecasting, pricing, go‑to‑market strategy and execution, and oversee end‑of‑life and transition planning.
• Marketing & Messaging:
  Develop dynamic and compelling messaging for customers, sales teams and internal stakeholders while ensuring consistency and clarity across all communications.
• Cross‑Functional
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with Marketing, Product Development, Sales and Operations to drive strategic transitions that maximize market share, enhance profit margins and reduce excess inventory.
• Engage in external conferences and industry forums to nurture strategic VOC and enhance the Teradyne brand.
• Develop and foster strategic relationships with customers and industry experts, generating a competitive advantage for Teradyne.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience. MBA or Master’s in Engineering a plus.
• 15+ years of experience with at least 5+ years in product development, product management or equivalent leadership experience deploying advanced technical solutions (ATE preferred).
• Strong technical background and ability to apply these skills in business settings.
• Solid understanding of modern digital semiconductor development—including design, DFT, fabrication, packaging and device testing.
• Basic understanding of datacenter and client architectures for modern AI applications.
• Knowledge of Teradyne’s ATE and/or SLT products is a plus.
• Strong influence, leadership, analytical and synthesis skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

The base salary range for this role is $155,000–$248,100. This range is a good faith estimate and will correspond with experience and skill set. The range may fluctuate depending on demand and location. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses based on financial performance.
