About Reading Eye Associates Established in 1979, Reading Eye Associates has served Middlesex County and the surrounding communities for over 40 years. The practice offers full-service optometry and medical eye care to patients of all ages, visual and medical diagnoses. As a well-respected business in the community, this practice focuses on providing patient-oriented quality eye care and specializes in ocular diseases, contact lenses, eye emergencies, and offers an extensive optical department and unsurpassed repair service.

To support business growth and preserve the legacy of Reading Eye Associates, the practice is looking for an Optometrist to join a tightly-knit team and eventually own the practice.

Reading Eye Associates is at the forefront of advanced diagnostic technology and vision correction products to diagnose and treat a wide array of ocular conditions. The practice features a fully automated software-driven refracting using Visionix. In addition, a non-mydriatic retinal camera transfers images to our Eyefinity Encompass EHR Software.

Patients enjoy a family-friendly shopping experience as they browse a wide selection of fashionable eyewear and designer frames from the optical boutique—the licensed Opticians are always ready to provide top-notch service to help patients find the perfect pair of frames. Plus, the practice offers an on-site lab to serve customers conveniently.

About the Optometrist Opening Reading Eye Associates is seeking an Optometrist passionate about providing excellent eye health and vision care for all patients and future interest in becoming a practice owner. You’ll perform comprehensive patient care, coding and communicate with primary and specialty care physicians. A support staff will perform pre-testing, examination support, and other duties, enabling you to focus on patient care—approximately 60 patients are seen weekly.

The practice is looking for a team player with a strong desire to learn the business side of optometry and is willing to take over the practice. Excellent patient communication skills, people skills, and the ability to mentor and lead employees are critical to this role. Part time, 20 hours/week with no Saturday hours!

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety.
