Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: G&A FP&A Manager (Teradyne, North Reading, MA)

Opportunity Overview

This is a newly created leadership role to build and lead a dedicated G&A FP&A team. As Teradyne has grown, the General & Administrative functions — Information Technology, Human Resources, and Facilities in particular — have grown in size and complexity. We are now standing up a focused team so these leaders have a true finance partner of their own.

Reporting to the VP, FP&A, the G&A FP&A Manager owns both forward‑looking planning and actuals accountability across all G&A cost centers. This is a high‑visibility, player‑coach role with executive‑level exposure— you will build the function, set the standard, and develop the team.

Teradyne is not considering candidates who require sponsorship for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a dedicated G&A FP&A team, owning forward FP&A and actuals accountability across all G&A cost centers, including IT, HR, Facilities, Finance, Legal, Investor/Corporate Relations, Corporate Development, and Executive Management.

Serve as the review layer for all G&A function actuals — analysts prepare; you review, challenge, and own the consolidated result.

Own the G&A Quarterly Business Review (Q ): present consolidated actuals and forecast, hold cost center managers to budget, and ensure accruals and forecasts are defended rather than explained.

Act as a trusted finance partner to G&A function leaders, building and defending budgets, identifying savings, and leading headcount and workforce planning; partner with HR on global People‑planning processes and with Facilities on planning readiness.

Hold SOX control sign‑off authority for G&A and Facilities, provide final balance sheet reconciliation sign‑off, and oversee EPM / planning system administration.

Lead the budgeting, AOP, and reforecast cycle for G&A, including variance analysis, scenario modeling, allocations, and spend governance.

Partner with the VP, FP&A on structural G&A cost initiatives and broader Finance transformation, including the ERP / Oracle migration, process standardization, and automation.

Develop and grow the analyst team — reskilling onto Oracle and AI tools and building G&A FP&A into a destination for analyst talent.

Consolidated G&A operating plan, AOP, and quarterly reforecasts with variance‑to‑plan analysis and recommended actions.

G&A Q  packages and monthly review materials for function leaders and Finance leadership.

Clean SOX control and balance sheet reconciliation sign‑offs, with no G&A or Facilities audit findings.

Headcount and workforce plans, allocation models, and savings/efficiency roadmaps.

Process standardization and automation improvements that support the ERP transition and faster close cycles.
