Position: Sr. Analyst, ERP / Planning Tool GPO (Teradyne, North Reading, MA)

Location:

North Reading, MA, US

Opportunity Overview

We’re seeking a technically skilled and process-oriented Sr. Analyst to serve as the Global Process Owner (GPO) for Teradyne’s ERP and cloud-based planning tools within Corporate FP&A. As Teradyne embarks on a significant ERP and planning system migration, this role is critical to ensuring a successful go-live, a clean stabilization period, and a future state where automation and system capability replace manual, Excel-based workflows across the FP&A function.

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate FP&A, you will own system administration and configuration, govern data quality and integrity, bridge business requirements to IT, and lead UAT through go-live sign-off. In steady state, your mandate evolves into continuous improvement, advanced scenario architecture, and driving AI and automation enablement across FP&A workflows. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role at the center of Teradyne’s Finance transformation.

Teradyne is not considering candidates who require sponsorship for this position.

We are only considering candidates local to the position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as system administrator and configuration owner for Teradyne’s cloud-based FP&A planning tool, maintaining system integrity across all planning cycles.
  • Manage forecast workflows, scenario architecture, and assumption tables — including merit, fringe, tax, and G&A allocation percentages — ensuring accuracy and version control across the planning cycle.
  • Bridge business requirements to IT; own UAT test scripts, release testing, and go-live sign-off for the ERP and planning tool migration.
  • Govern data quality across FP&A systems: own Essbase/ERP load reconciliations, audit trails, and data integrity controls to ensure a single source of truth.
  • Train and support all FP&A users on planning tool functionality; maintain access permissions and user governance.
  • Post-migration: drive continuous improvement initiatives, automate manual Excel-based tasks, and support advanced scenario builds across the Corporate FP&A and G&A teams.
  • Maintain SOX control documentation for planning tool access and data integrity, ensuring audit-ready records at all times.
  • Partner cross-functionally with IT, Corporate FP&A, and G&A teams to streamline financial workflows and advance the automation roadmap.
All About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
  • Master’s degree with emphasis in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems a plus.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial systems, or a hybrid finance/technology role, ideally in a corporate or public company environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and cloud‑based planning tools; experience with Oracle, Hyperion/Essbase, EPM, Anaplan, or equivalent platforms strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of FP&A processes — including forecast workflows, close cycles, allocations, and workforce planning — with the ability to translate business requirements into system configuration.
  • Experience owning or supporting UAT, system migrations, or go‑live readiness in a Finance or IT context a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to govern data quality, manage audit trails, and maintain SOX‑compliant controls in a planning or ERP environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables, operate independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, and communicate technical concepts clearly to Finance stakeholders.
  • Experience with AI tools, automation, and process improvement initiatives a plus.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $,400. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
