The Amazon Robotics Supply Chain provides strategic sourcing for a portfolio of robotic technologies and is responsible for delivering new products by enabling the right suppliers and technologies, and getting the right materials at the right cost to the right place at the right time to support our network of global fulfillment and transportation solutions.

Located in the greater Boston and Seattle area, our diverse teams come from all over the world to design, test, and build our dynamic fleet of robots, mechatronic systems, and pack automation solutions.

• Lead cross‑functional supply chain team dedicated to the supplier and supply chain design, sourcing and logistics decisions, and supply chain execution for robotics products from concept, through development, to scaled deployment.
• Act as single point of contact for program resources to communicate supply chain decisions and progress, provide feedback on supply chain implications of program decisions and changes, and support financial planning and capital approvals for the program.
• Work with Robotics leadership to ensure partnership with hardware engineering, operations and program teams on commodity and supplier selection, cost performance trade‑off analysis, cost road‑map development and execution, and enabling rapid product development stages, and delivering an effective path to scaled deployment.
• Define and approve the product‑level supply chain strategy documents, including identification of critical components and suppliers, product cost roadmap to meet payback targets, definition of capacity plan and associated sourcing and tooling requirements, and supply chain risk assessment & mitigation plans.
• Develop negotiation strategies for categories that impact the product to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with strategic suppliers for priority programs driven by the operating plan.
• Manage overall supplier relationships, including performance, capability development, capacity planning, contracting, risk mitigation, and cost and quality improvements.
• Work with technical operations, engineering, and program teams on new‑product‑introduction programs to define standard and custom product requirements ensuring sourcing strategies meet technical capabilities, cost, and business goals.
• Develop efficient and accurate mechanisms for communicating forecast and capacity requirements for sustaining and new products.
• Guide the purchasing and planning teams by monitoring supplier performance and addressing supply and/or quality issues.
• Align supplier strategies to robotics goals for sustaining production and new product.
• Develop and execute global commodity strategies that align business requirements with supplier capabilities.
• Maintain monthly supplier scorecards and conduct quarterly executive business reviews.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• 2+ years of high‑volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience
• Experience in supply chain, commodity, and supplier management in a high‑volume, global sourcing and manufacturing environment with a global supply base of contract manufacturers
• 2+ years of direct experience in sourcing mechanical components, including machined parts, stamped parts, plastic parts, and/or raw materials

• Master's degree in engineering, management, or technology, or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Salary: USD 92,400 – 160,000 annually.
