Opportunity Overview

The Senior Program Manager – Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) plays a critical role in leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives that support Teradyne’s growth through acquisition, integration, and portfolio expansion. This role partners closely with Corporate Development and functional leaders to ensure successful due diligence, integration execution, and value realization across acquired businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive integration plans, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and success metrics
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Sales, HR, IT, Finance, Legal) to drive alignment and execution
  • Partner with Corporate Development and Finance to track synergy realization and business performance against integration objectives
  • Support governance, executive reporting, and steering committee forums with clear communication of progress, risks, and recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory, legal, and confidentiality requirements throughout the M&A lifecycle
  • Lead change management efforts to enable smooth adoption of processes, systems, and organizational structures

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 8–12+ years of program management experience in a technology, engineering, or complex product environment
  • 3–5+ years of direct experience supporting M&A initiatives, including due diligence and integration

Skills & Experience

  • Strong financial acumen, including experience working with synergy models, valuations, and business cases
  • Demonstrated ability to manage risk, dependencies, and competing priorities across multiple work streams
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and executives with confidence and credibility
  • Ability to manage highly confidential, time‑sensitive initiatives with discretion

Soft Skills

  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Influence without authority and ability to drive outcomes through collaboration
  • Change leadership and organizational sensitivity in dynamic environments
  • Mentorship and guidance of cross‑functional teams and program contributors

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Experience in the semiconductor, test equipment, or advanced electronics industry
  • PMP, PgMP, or similar program management certification

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $140,500–$224,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
