The role is responsible for assisting New Product Introduction (NPI) logistics operations for Amazon Robotics. This includes collaborating with the NPI Logistics Program Lead and Head of Global Logistics to drive daily operations and continuous improvement to yield world‑class results through globally consistent processes, metrics‑driven performance and incremental process automation. The ideal candidate will draw upon exemplary project management, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills, and a passion for creating reliable and maintainable systems for warehousing and transportation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist business cases for new warehouse distribution and transportation optimization strategies.
  • Work across cross‑functional teams to create the best possible capacity plan for current and future years within Amazon Robotics fulfillment network.
  • Create and execute strategic sourcing projects that support the team’s development of an end‑to‑end sourcing/supply‑chain plan from concept to global deployment.
  • Support contract negotiations with external partners, e.g., ramp‑ups and ramp‑downs of warehouses, transportation cost reduction.
  • Drive operational excellence by developing and improving standard operating procedures for NPI Logistics, creating and monitoring KPIs and SLAs.
  • Thought leader for cost efficiencies and frugality initiatives.
  • Complete total cost of ownership analysis to ensure project costs meet or beat cost objectives.
  • Effectively manage and deliver projects within scope, time, budget and quality.
  • Work to create white papers and planning‑cycle documents and influence senior leadership.

    Basic Qualifications
    • 3+ years of program or project management experience
    • 3+ years of working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams
    • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
    • 2+ years of supply chain experience
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) at an advanced level and SQL
    • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
    Preferred Qualifications
    • 3+ years of driving end‑to‑end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
    • 3+ years of driving process improvements
    • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
    • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

    USA, Massachusetts, Reading. Salary range: $85,800.00 – $ USD annually.
