Gas Foreman

Overview

Henkels & McCoy, Inc. (H&M) is a leading utility construction firm serving the power, oil & gas pipeline, telecommunications, and gas distribution markets in North America. The position seeks a Gas Foreman in Reading, PA to lead and manage union crews, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient project execution.

Location: Reading, PA

• The Foreman directs construction activities of the union crew, organizes and monitors the work of all crew personnel and subcontractors to achieve timely job completion.
• Maintains regular documentation and ensures proper paper flow to the project office, continually reviewing progress reports, identifying, and implementing changes where practicable.
• Ensures compliance with H&M's Project Management Methodology and safety and quality management protocols.
• Assists in the investigation of incidents and claims, develops methodology, tools and approaches using fundamentals of H&M Project Management practices.
• Manages assigned crewmen and subcontractors, communicating with influence and leading by example to maintain high‑performance standards based on safety, accountability, and constructive communication.

• Understanding of construction and utility industry practices, processes, and standards.
• Advanced technical knowledge within the assigned LOB or construction specialty.
• Exposure to industry-relevant software.
• Broad problem-solving skills.
• Minimum educational background: specialized training in a relevant Construction field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum years of relevant experience: 3+ years.
