Hourly Salary: $16.52 an hour
Shift- 2nd Shift: 2:30pm-11:15pm
Tester Operator
In this role, you will provide services to the world’s largest telecommunications and cable providers. The ideal CTDI team members should have excellent attention to detail, strong verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and within a team. Availability to work overtime to support customer needs is a plus. The Tester Operator performs a variety of electronically automated tests for STB equipment to determine if the unit functions according to specifications or to determine cause of unit failure, using electronic test instruments.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the STB test equipment (CMTx, Raptor, GEN) to meet or exceed daily production goal at 90% or higher.
- Verify incoming and outgoing unit counts and unit condition.
- Maintain satisfactory Quality performance levels.
- Package, unpackage, sort, stage, and prepare units for production.
- Ability to interpret and execute testing process as outlined in Test Work Instructions.
- Data entry to CTDI systems via PC and RF handheld devices.
- Perform tasks in a high speed, high volume environment.
- Put away and pull equipment and/or parts.
- Maintain and clean, organized workstation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Hands‑on capability to troubleshoot technical problems as necessary.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to operate a PC and input data.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and also within a team.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a high‑volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e., testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
