Position Overview
Reading Lumber is looking for experienced retail managers—shift, assistant or store manager—to lead our hardware store in Reading. The role involves overseeing sales, expenses, profits, assets and the professional development of team members to ensure the highest level of customer service.
Responsibilities- Delegate, train and monitor the progress of all associates and all facets of the store.
- Manage sales performance, expenses, profits and assets.
- Ensure customers receive the highest level of service and maintain store standards.
- At least 2 years of prior retail management experience.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds consistently, stand and walk for up to 8 hours during each shift.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
