HVAC Installation Lead Technician

HVAC Installation Lead Technician | $35–$45/hr | Take-Home Vehicle

Monday–Friday | 40+ hours per week

Cooling Unlimited, Inc. is looking for an experienced HVAC Installation Lead Technician to join our residential installation team. If you take pride in quality workmanship, know how to keep an installation moving, and are comfortable guiding other technicians in the field, this is an opportunity to take your skills to the next level.

What You'll Do

• Lead residential heating and air conditioning installations from start to finish
• Make sure installations meet company quality and safety standards
• Coordinate daily work with other installers and keep projects on schedule
• Provide hands-on guidance and direction to installation team members
• Inspect completed work and address installation issues as they arise
• Troubleshoot equipment or jobsite challenges and determine appropriate solutions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
• Communicate project updates, concerns, and material needs with management
• Help train and mentor less-experienced installers
• Represent Cooling Unlimited professionally in customers' homes

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC installation practices
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned jobs

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous lead, foreman, or supervisory experience
• HVAC technical school or formal trade training
• NATE certification
• Experience training or mentoring other technicians
