Swing Delivery Driver

Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring a full-time Swing Delivery Driver to work out of our warehouses in North Reading, MA. This position assists with fulfilling and processing orders, shipping/receiving, inventory, providing support as an alternate delivery driver, and other duties as assigned.

• Managing paperwork from customers and vendors
• Daily deliveries to job sites and supply houses
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Pulling orders and prepping for shipment
• Receiving inventory and storing products in designated areas
• Keeping work area clean and orderly
• Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment
• Operating our delivery trucks safely
• Performing other related duties as assigned

• Experience in a similar work environment preferred
• Current DOT Medical Card or a CDL preferred
• Experience driving a 22’ stake body truck in Boston and surrounding areas
• Clean driving record
• Basic math skills
• Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and standard forklifts when needed
• Willingness to learn the warehouse products
• Self‑motivated
• Punctual and courteous
• Team‑player mentality a must; communication, collaboration, and motivation to follow through critical
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently without constant supervision

• Maintain a valid DOT Medical Card
• Must be able to join Local 25 Union

• Monday through Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
