Job Summary /

Key Responsibilities

Manages all Bill of Lading Amendments according to customer’s request and in compliance with export/import regulations. Provides necessary information to customers regarding the amendment requests and communicates with our overseas agents to assure all Bill of Ladings are corrected timely, accurately, and with minimal impact on the customer’s operations.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Communicates clearly with team members regarding workload, customer particulars, and problems.
  • Manage bills of lading amendments according to customer’s requests timely with little to no errors generated.
  • Ensure compliance with domestic and foreign export regulations.
  • Provides revised Bill of Lading to customers for their review.
  • Communicates with customers for clarification on amendments requests and for any additional information customer might need to know regarding correction requests.
  • Communicates with overseas agencies to ensure corrections can be applied.
  • Presence required on‑site 5 days per week
  • Performs other duties as required.

This role requires working on‑site in the office for five days a week, from Monday to Friday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid work in this role, unless required off‑site duties are being performed.

Qualifications & Key Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • English: advanced
  • Strong attention to details
  • Organized, efficient, and able to manage time effectively
  • Strong customer service mindset, focused, and responsive
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Great team player
  • Knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to learn new software
Preferred skills, experience, education
  • Prior experience in supply chain, transportation, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, customer service, etc.
Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
  • Must be able to commute to the designated office location
  • Presence required on‑site 5 days per week
