Bookkeeper

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Reading, Pennsylvania. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your accounting skills, particularly in accounts receivable and accounts payable, while working with Quick Books software. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational abilities and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes with precision and attention to detail.

- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.

- Utilize Quick Books software, including Pro, Premier, and Enterprise versions, to maintain and update financial data.

- Track and record all financial transactions systematically and accurately.

- Prepare detailed reports and summaries to support financial decision-making.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures in all bookkeeping tasks.

- Collaborate with team members to streamline financiais workflows and improve efficiency.

- Assist with resolving discrepancies and issues related to financial documentation.

- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of invoices, payments, and other financial documents.

Requirements

- Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable.

- Proficiency in Quick Books, including Pro, Premier, and Enterprise versions.

- Strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
