What You’ll Do
Core Accounting Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payments
Perform high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy
Support daily accounting operations and general bookkeeping
Daily Reconciliation & Accuracy (Key Focus)Perform daily reconciliation of operating accounts with zero unresolved variances
Identify and resolve discrepancies in real time
Maintain clean, accurate, and fully explainable account balances
Wire & Banking OversightReview and approve wire activity in accordance with internal controls
Verify all wire instructions against source documentation
Escalate discrepancies immediately — no assumptions, no shortcuts
Monthly Accounting & AnalysisComplete monthly reconciliations and vendor/billing analysis
Monitor open invoices and follow up to ensure timely payment
Support recurring billing, expense tracking, and financial reporting
Escrow & Compliance SupportMaintain accurate, compliant escrow accounts across all entities
Identify and escalate discrepancies immediately
Support adherence to regulatory and underwriter requirements
Process Improvement & Documentation (Important)Document existing workflows and accounting procedures
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risk
Serve as a backup resource for key accounting functions
Additional ResponsibilitiesSupport payroll and 401(k) processing
Assist with banking administration and vendor management
Respond to internal questions and serve as a reliable accounting resource
Assist with system/process integration related to acquisitions or growth initiatives
What We’re Looking ForExperience with Sage Intacct (required or strongly preferred)
2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or similar role
Accounting or Finance degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
Exceptional attention to detail and accountability
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Professional, responsive communicator
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
