This role completes advanced clerical-accounting work involving the application of bookkeeping principles and practices to support key Children & Youth programs and services.

Responsibilities- Compliance and Accountability: Ensure invoices meet all Federal, State, and County mandated requirements and ensure timely and accurate reimbursement
- Invoice Review: Review and ensure accuracy of invoice amounts, proper signatures, certification statements, and other documentation if needed
- Invoice Processing: Make corrections when necessary; perform data entry; code each invoice accurately; and file invoices after payment verification
- Payroll Processing: Match check requests generated by upload invoices, give to accountant for signature, make copies and batch to Comptroller’s Office
- Clothing Vouchers: Type vouchers, separate and distribute copies to necessary parties, keep a log of transactions, help resolve discrepancies, reconcile receipts, prepare quarterly reports
- Auxiliary Support: Archive files, help process purchase requisitions, and assist with other fiscal or program duties and tasks as assigned
- Full‑time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non‑negotiable.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or
- Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or
- One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- You must pass a background investigation.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
